MBP Summer Camp…that’s a wrap!

From acting to singing, set painting and costuming, students had a blast engaging in many creative pursuits at the Magic Beanstalk Player Summer Drama Camp. The camp culminated in two sold-out performances of The Little Dozer That Did production.

Thirty-five students ranging from first through sixth grade had the privilege of being the original cast to star in The Little Dozer that Did, a homegrown Plumas County musical.

Spearheaded by Ken Donnell, the writing of the script and music was a collaborative effort of many Plumas County individuals whose goal is to foster a sense of healing and resiliency in our community through art and theatre post The Dixie Fire.

The Little Dozer helps us realize that even the smallest person can make a difference, that we all have unique gifts and talents, and when we work together as a community we can overcome challenges and accomplish anything!

SHOWKIT Available

Ken Donnell and dramaworks hold the copyright to The Little Dozer that Did script. We have a SHOWKIT available for licensing! The kit includes the scripts, music, set pieces, costumes, and props. If you are a part of a school or children’s community organization, consider producing the show with your students! We make it easy and will support you throughout the process. Please contact Kelsea at dramaworks for more information.
