SWEET is a wonderful opportunity for youth in 7th – 12th grades to not only explore theatre, but to engage with other students in an after-school activity, designed to sharpen their “soft skills” including communication, teamwork, conflict management, decision making and of course creativity!
The SWEET program holds classes on Wednesdays from 4:00 – 5:30 pm at the West End Theatre starting on October 11th. Late registrants are welcome as well!
We are thrilled to have as our teachers Tisha Connelley and Tina Terrazas co-teaching this Fall semester.
We are grateful to the California Arts Council for the Creative Youth Development grant to fund SWEET 2023-2025. We sincerely thank CAC for supporting dramaworks and the West End Theatre. These funds allow us to provide free tuition for this semester’s SWEET class.
