This spring, the Magic Beanstalk Players will whisk audiences away to a place where dreams are born and no one ever grows up. Peter Pan JR is coming to the West End Theatre!
With a sprinkle of fairy dusk, Peter Pan and the Darling children go on a magical journey across the stars to Neverland. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce tribe of Brave Girls, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook! With iconic songs like, “I’m Flying,” “I Won’t Grow Up,” and “Never Never Land,” this musical will bring out the child in everyone!
The Magic Beanstalk Players were in rehearsals for Peter Pan JR two years ago, when everything came to a halt due to the pandemic. Now, it’s time to revive the show and bring live musical theatre back to the West End Theatre! There will be two casts, each cast will perform three times for a total of six performances from May 19th-22nd.
48 students ranging from kindergarten through 10th grade are involved in the production. Rehearsals are well underway, and it’s been a joy to sing, dance and act with our drama students again!
Tickets will be on sale to the public in April.
